Jim, the cheapest Chinese American dude in LA, has recently been left by his fiancĂ©, Katherine two weeks before their wedding on Valentine’s Day. In order to ease his pain, he asks his long-time best friend and ex-con, Alex, to kill him. Alex reluctantly agrees to give Jim his wish, but he doesn’t think its a good idea to do the job down in LA. Rather enjoyed this little indie buddy comedy. Charming and cute. What it lacks in execution it makes up in heart. Just a sweet little film with a good Asian cast. I also watched the extras when they won the award at the VC Film Festival. Surprised these filmmakers haven’t done anything since this film. Unfortunate b/c they have talent.
