Viewing Notes

Forgot about this movie until Scott Weinberg mentioned in on Twitter and that it was currently OOP (still available on the secondary market). But of course my library network had it available. Set in 1963 but released in 1979 I would have thought this to be made even earlier than that since everyone is so young (and portraying high schoolers).

Karen Allen is super cute and looks closer to the appropriate age. Can’t believe she was starring in Raiders only a couple years later. She’s adorable in this. Also Ken Wahl looks so young as well. A tad too long but a fine film about the urban gangs of that time. Occasionally comical but a really good watch. Glad to have finally watched this.
