After years of hard work, old Sam Cooper has finally found a gold mine. Since he cannot take everything he has found with him, he blows up the entrance. Viewing Notes

Another film I decided to watch off that DVD set I picked up at the library and another shitty presentation cropped to 1.33:1, which would leave shots where two people in the frame were cut in half. This would be worth revisiting in its true aspect ratio because it is a pretty good flick, albeit an ape on Treasure of the Sierre Madre and others.

Good casting of unlikely allies to seek out a lost treasure but continually turn on each other. I will never tire of seeing Klaus Kinski in spaghetti westerns.
