Viewing Notes
Wasn’t on my radar nor on my original list of JCVD films for this project but I saw it at my library so what the hell, why not? It has Van Damme! Not a bad foreign thriller that involves the slave trade of young girls. Didn’t realize this was a recent movie but it makes sense b/c it borrows from other films like TAKEN. But the action bursts are few but effective. Joe Flanigan is more than capable as a ex-MMA fighter in the story. But the film is longer than it needs to be at nearly 2 hours. That detracts from what could’ve been a tighter more compelling movie.
