Overview

All roads lead to magical, merry Toyland as Mary Contrary and Tom Piper prepare for their wedding! But villainous Barnaby wants Mary for himself, so he kidnaps Tom, setting off a series of comic chases, searches, and double-crosses! The “March Of The Wooden Soldiers” helps put Barnaby in his place, and ensures a “happily ever after” for Tom and Mary!

My official Christmas movie… and one I’ve been wanting to revisit for LONG time. For some reason I always thought this was a holiday film but it’s not. I think it’s just because I recall my early viewings of this were always during the holiday season. It’s not quite the awesome movie I remember as a kid (for one, it’s too long) but it has many entertaining sequences particularly that final battle. So my nostalgia gives it a ratings bump. Pretty damn fine cast too.
