Overview

Lyon Gaultier is a deserter in the Foreign Legion arriving in the USA entirely hard up. He finds his brother between life and death and his sister-in-law without the money needed to heal her husband and to maintain her child. To earn the money needed, Gaultier decides to take part in some very dangerous clandestine fights.

Viewing Notes

Haven’t seen this since I saw it at the $2 theater back in 1990 when I was in college. Still seems fresh as ever in my memory. Still pretty damn dopey but I love seeing a younger JCVD after all these more recent films I’ve been viewing for my project. Guess the biggest surprise upon this revisit is the little girl Ashley Johnson went on to bigger better things like the waitress in The Avengers.
