Viewing Notes

Another time killer while waiting to pick up Yumi after work (she’s not off until 7pm or so). Caught this at the Cupertino AMC, a theater that apparently I’ve been to before but have no recollection of what that may have been. Packed crowd, mostly families, natch.

Had no expectations going in and knew very little about this movie. Chose it b/c of the timing and it was one of the very few films under 2 hours currently screening. Crazy. Probably a good thing I had no expectations b/c this is not a very good movie, even by child-viewing standards. Aziz Ansari has the best lines and comedy bits. Everything else just feels retread and tired. Even the animation is dull in most sequences, especially w/the character designs.

Not something I’d watch again.
