Viewing Notes

If you’re a fan of Ricky Jay, sleight of hand magic, and/or sleight of hand magic history then this is a movie for you. Basically an 88 minute commercial for Ricky Jay’s performances and books. Not a bad thing if you enjoy close-up magicians and the art of sleight of the hand magic. I do so I enjoyed this doc quite a bit. But I wouldn’t consider this a very good doc; it’s mostly a clip reel with a few stories thrown in for good measure. Nothing deep or revealing. Still worth a watch.
