David Arquette has a passion for horror film evident by many of his popular roles (Scream, Eight-Legged Freaks, etc.). In The Tripper (2006) he directs his own slasher screenplay about tree hugging hippies & loggers as a killer stalks them in the woods. Gotta admire Arquette’s spirit but the film doesn’t quite pay off. Not a terrible watch.
