I gotta admit that when I first started seeing the trailers for this movie I wasn’t interested. Quite the turn-off despite the connection to the movie industry. But when I saw my Dallas peeps going to a adv.screening and indicating that this is a worthwhile film my attitude changed.
Dropped by CineArts after work and soaked it all in. Not bad not great. Best moments aren’t the ones you’d think (that feature Lake Bell) but rather w/Rob Corddry. Comedy gold. And he’s in a scene that had me choked up.
Overall a good movie that feels more like a TV movie or something you’d watch on HBO. No benefit from viewing on the big screen. Love seeing Geena Davis again.
