Overview

After straight-arrow district attorney Joseph Foster says in frustration that he would sell his soul to bring down a local mob boss, a smooth-talking stranger named Nick Beal shows up with enough evidence to seal a conviction. Viewing Notes

Was glad to make it to my second night at the Noir City Chicago film series… thought I’d miss the first of the double feature due to my work event. So happy to catch this not-on-DVD supernatural tinged flick with the devil Nick Beal pulling the political strings to harbor the souls of otherwise good human beings. Some great comedy beats. Super enjoyable movie!
