Only had time to watch one film and that was George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four (1984). No coincidence this was a 1984 release, eh? Having never seen this before I wasn’t exactly sure how the film would play out. It is intensely dire and John Hurt is exceptional. Rather discomforting that this future scenario seems plausible.
