Next up Guy Maddin’s spooky mind trip Brand Upon the Brain (2006), on Criterion no less. Another captivating watch with great atmosphere and narration. Weird fantasy about a Guy returning to his childhood home and dealing with a very dysfunctional family that extracts brain juice from orphans to remain young. I *think* that’s what’s going on.
Disc set is great as it includes the live narrations from Isabella Rossellini and Crispin Glover. I listened to a little of those w/the film.
