Viewing Notes

Seventeenth film at my FF2013 and fourth on Day 4, another Japanese film (my goal was to see all the JP films this year). This one was a big surprise! So much more than the simple description provides (a kid who wants to lick his own dick). Many layers and depth to this heartwarming tale of a family and neighborhood in this apartment block. I think it runs a little too long which is my only criticism but still a wonderful movie and my 8th favorite of the festival.
