Viewing Notes

Twenty-third film of my FF2013 and first of Day Six. Another one I didn’t want to miss, the first horror movie out of Laos. I honestly wasn’t expecting much but really dug the slow burn ghost tale. Pretty good film for Mattie Do’s first attempt at making a movie. The cheats are easy to spot but still a nice little film. Could be clipped a bit to tighten it up but not bad.

The best was the Q&A with Mattie, who is a spitfire and a delight to meet. Also this features one the cutest dogs I’ve seen onscreen in a long time, Mango!!! My 26th favorite at the festival but not a knock b/c the programming was so great this year.
