Sixth film at The Massacre and one I was looking forward to viewing as it’s been a LONG time since I’ve last seen it. Bonus getting a 35mm print and lead actor Mark Patton on hand for a Q&A afterwards that was so amazing. He’s a adorable and I could listen to him tell NOES stories all night. Also got to chat with him for a bit. Wonderful man.
This was the first NOES film that I saw in theater when it was originally released so it has a special place in my viewing history. Really interesting to rewatch now after all the gay subtext discussion. Even better to hear Mark Patton’s take on it and how it was a known element when they were making the movie. And it really is a great movie to see with a capacity crowd. Def one of my favorites of the event.
