A woman working the late shift at a gas station while a killer is on the loose; a man who can’t stand the thought of losing his hair; a baseball player that submits to an eye transplant. An anthology of terror.

During its initial run on Showtime I never bothered writing it off as another Creepshow wannabe. It’s amazing what 20 years will do to one’s perspective. While this is not a home-run horror anthology it is rather fun, esp. in the spot the character actor/cameo department. To continue with the analogy, this more like a few doubles with a couple runs scored. Definitely a lot of fun to see all these actors ham up the horror bits. Hope the new Blu offers some commentary tracks because I’d love to hear them.
