Viewing Notes

The first movie at Box of Horrors 2013, a French adaptation of Poe’s short story, and one I haven’t seen. I missed the first part of the movie due to traffic but I’m familiar enough with the story to jump in even though this film plays more like a fever dream of imagery. Originally silent this print had the score and voice over. Really cool movie that I will have to track down so I can see the beginning. Nice start to the movie marathon!
