Viewing Notes

Had this in my queue forever and now that it was expiring I finally buckled in for what I expected wasn’t going to be on par with Álex de la Iglesia films I’ve seen. And I was correct. Not a terrible film but the execution is overwrought in telling this mystery which throws plenty of red herrings you begin to think that everyone is behind the crimes. Fortunately the cast elevates the material. Putting Elijah Wood and John Hurt in the movie only helps.
