Overview
A washed-up horror novelist arrives in a sleepy town on a book tour, only to stumble into a string of eerie murders. Viewing Notes
Another impulse grab at the library and mainly because I was curious after all the negative ramblings. Yeah, this is not a very good movie weighted down by the convoluted mystery and wonky CG that just looks bad. I did like seeing Joanne Whalley acting against her ex-husband. Wish she had a bigger role. Always love having Bruce Dern in a movie. Plus Elle Fanning! Unfortunately this is a glorified DTV flick with very little keeping it afloat. Not the worst thing but an odd one for Coppola.
