Took in the next flick on the KICKIN’ IT SHAOLIN STYLE DVD set I picked up the other day. This one directed by Raymond Lui (dir. Fatal Flying Guillotine). I’d like to pretend that the plot made sense but sadly it doesn’t come together very well despite some excellent kung fu work and choreography. Also some good camera work.
Unfortunately this is another film cropped to 4:3 with the edges trimmed off as well as compressed. Looks pretty bad but not terrible. Definitely a film that would improve with a better presentation and native language. I wonder if a better version exists?
