Viewing Notes
Had the DVD for months but now that it’s finally on NWI I decide to watch it (my DVD). That’s what I get for waiting. I’m okay since this is a pretty good Johnnie To flick tho far from stellar. The To touches make it worth viewing along with a couple of nice sequences (esp. the finale). As a whole it’s not quite up there with his other work.
But it features Louis Koo and I love Louis Koo. I don’t get the decisions his character makes towards the end which feels more like a cheat to get to a resolution. Ah well. Still a fine movie that I would revisit.
