Viewing Notes
Some great visuals and ideas make up for the convoluted plotting. The story is all over the place and barely makes sense. But as far as superhero spoof movies go this one is watchable esp. because of Elsa Pataky, who is beautiful. She lights up every frame and when she’s not in the frame the movie tumbles. Clearly she has a presence even in this silly farce. I also like the appropriation of Tokyo as the futuristic backdrop.
