Viewing Notes

Sadly the title and plot synopsis are the most exciting things about this international espionage flick. Loaded with journeymen actors and a so-so heist (to build a super laser!!), the result falls flat. Richard Egan is the Dudley Do-Right government agent up against the terrorists led by the often evil Michael Ansara. Both are fine when being ultra cool but the movie is divided into talkie exposition that brings any momentum to screeching halt. The nightclub scenes w/the Stassa the Go-Go Dancer are the best, which says it all in regards to the main story. DID I MENTION THE SUPER LASER???

Had hoped this would be a little better but since they spend most of the time giving talkie exposition instead of action it’s not very good. Not a bad movie just poorly executed given the premise. Okay idea with a good cast. Just a misfire from Lyon.
