Viewing Notes

Solid film that worked for me despite having never seen the TV series. I wanted to go in blind to see if it still worked as a standalone feature for the general audience. It succeeds. However it does feel like an extended TV episode and it’s not really cinematic. Nothing would be lost by viewing at home on television. May even work better in that format. Maybe I’ll start watching the series one of these days.
