Mostly enjoyed this YA book adaptation. Maybe helped it is set in a future Chicago? I dunno. Seems like a blueprint YA flick with many elements seen in other stories combined for this movie. Likable characters and invested in their arc. Plenty of silly stuff too but not bad. Has enough to keep me engaged. Curious to see where this story goes from here.
