CCFF Day 3, Film 1: Had high hopes for this based on the premise. Figured I’d be able to relate rather well to the idea of making a long distance relationship work. Despite being very well made with two very good performances, I have mixed feelings. And that is because of my own experience. Honestly cannot sympathize with this relationship esp. considering how easy it is for them to stay in constant communication via the internet.
I can’t say more without going into spoilers. The opening scene is a rather amazing long take that appears to be done in one shot. Quite remarkable.
