Hmm, better as a distant memory. But worth the watch for Diane Keaton.
For my Childhood Movies Project. I probably never watched the entire movie when I was a kid. I have vague recollections of seeing it on TV, particularly when Woody Allen is disguised as one of the server robots. My guess is that it looked intriguing being all sci-fi and whatnot but I didn’t understand what was going on.
I like my memory of it better as the slapstick stuff isn’t very funny to me. Really it’s Diane Keaton that stands out and Woody Allen that makes this almost insufferable. It plays like an experimental film of its time and in some ways a parody of THX-1138. Neither work for me if those were the intent. I’d look more into this movie but I really don’t care.
