When investigative reporter Irwin “Fletch” Fletcher goes undercover to write a piece on the drug trade at a local beach, he’s approached by wealthy businessman Alan Stanwyk, who offers him $50,000 to murder him. For my Childhood Movies Project. Also one that I’ve seen several times since it’s release but I decided to include it for this project since it has been a number of years, maybe 10 or more, since I’ve seen it.
Still a classic and one of Chevy’s best films. Maybe #2 after Vacation for me. I flip flop on them because each has such a different role and I love how Chevy is almost always in control commanding each scene in Fletch. Good watch.
