Viewing Notes

A bit disappointing for Eddie Romero but at least the setup and payoff is slightly different than the other AIP Filipino girls with guns movies. Possibly the lack of Pam Grier takes it down a notch. She has an energy that makes even these bad exploitation flicks worth viewing.

As it is, this isn’t one worth the watch other than a check-off on the Machete Maidens Unleashed! list. Sid Haig is practically comic relief with his attempted Spanish accent. Vic Diaz is hilarious but sorely underused.

Also the rare AIP exploitation flick that features women leads yet has no nudity. Has sex and shower scenes but is shot in way to not give up any. Maybe the first I’ve seen that does this.
