Viewing Notes
Hmm, can’t say that I like this movie but does offer weird twist on what initially appears to a be a conventional “evil hosts on a farm” horror tale. That was unexpected. So I give them points for that (“a retelling of Dante’s Inferno”). Also for some serious cringing during a particular scene involving a cheese grater. Might have worked with stronger actors in the leads. Steven Weber and Kelly Hu are quite menacing here and easily overshadow the leads with their performance.
