Viewing Notes
Decent look back at the making of NOTLD and its place in history. Not bad but not very in-depth with the info provided. Often wonder who these types of docs are made for since fans of the film would already know most of the material presented. I don’t claim to know everything that was presented in this docu but didn’t find any of the additional insight that much more interesting than what I did know about the film. I suppose the bits about how it got distribution and which theaters carried it as well as the early film reviews are mildly intriguing. I probably gleaned more from the MIDNIGHT MOVIES doc on its place in history. Still good to hear Romero discuss the movie as well as Fessenden wax poetic about it.
