Viewing Notes

Another DVD from Netflix that I’m clueless as to why I added to my queue. As a small budget indie horror flick I’m sure this was DTV. There aren’t any name actors. It looks like a college project movie only a little bit better. While hardly a good movie it’s not that bad if you forgive the shortcuts and cheats.

The story is not terribly original. Basically some young people head down to Mexico to visit a sweet surfing hole on the beach. The area they visit is also the home of some weird cult that captures and eats people that visit, the chacals. It’s interesting enough but not a film I’d recommend.
