Viewing Notes
Second film of the first Bruce Campbell’s Horror Film Festival. Also the US premiere for this movie. Movie does an excellent job of delivering on its premise. It’s not perfect but it’s pretty damn entertaining. The practical FX are really good. Pretty much a one-note flick but it makes the most of it. Sequel already in the works. Another great movie night flick.
Best part of the screening was a family with two little girls came in after the movie had already started. Then during a very explicit transformation scene in a restroom, they promptly left. I wondered why the hell anyone would bring their kids to this but afterwards it was revealed that they thought they were in the TMNT screening. Oh really? Maybe the werewolf penis was their first clue?
