Viewing Notes

You know what you’re getting when a movie begins with: starring Reb Brown, John Phillip Law and Cameron Mitchell. This is essentially a remake of OG Battlestar Galactica that even uses scenes from that film/tv series with the vipers and cylon ships. This is a terrible movie but in most of the best ways.

Hilarious that they shoot this movie in some kind of treatment plant that supposed to the large “Galactica” ship they are traveling on which it’s obvious that none of this would be in any ship. Even the sunlight shining through giant windows… ugh.

James Ryan is also in this as a cripple and I wonder if he really was a cripple at the time. Why cast such a martial arts badass and have him limp around. Or sit on his ass firing a laser pistol. Even the laser guns look stupid.

Honestly it’s amazing how terrible this is yet everyone is totally serious. This movie is on the IMDb bottom 100 for good reason. I’d love to see this play B-Fest.

Oh and there’s a dude in this with an amazing mullet.
