My first feature on Day 3 of the Noir City Chicago 6 film festival at MBT. Knew nothing about this movie but super glad to have seen it on the big screen in 35mm. Really fun French film noir. Suzy Delair is terrific and like a French Shelley Winters. Great singer and performer with a penchant for straying from her husband. That leads to the incidence that sets things in motion. Really had no idea where this was going as each suspect attempts to avoid arrest for a murder they are all connected to.
Really enjoyed this movie.
