When two troublemaking female prisoners (one a revolutionary, the other a former harem-girl) can’t seem to get along, they are chained together and extradited for safekeeping. The women, still chained together, stumble, stab, and cat-fight their way across the wilderness, igniting a bloody shootout between gangsters and a group of revolutionaries.

After watching the BaadAsss Cinema doc I wanted more Pam Grier in my eyeballs. She really is a badass (and easy on the eyes). This film is another Filipino cookie cutter women in prison deal like so many others starring Grier but still enjoyable. The scene where she and Margaret Markov slap each other silly while chained together is the highlight. I also like cowboy Sid Haig and perverted Vic Diaz, other staple character actors of these films. Possibly the best Eddie Romero flick I’ve seen.
It’s too bad they opted to end the film they way they did because they could’ve made sequels with these two women in different settings and situations. Missed opportunity.
