Second film on Day 5 at FF2014. I accept the Frankenstein comparisons for this modern adaptation but with the addition of the social and political implications surrounding cloning, this movie never gets at the heart of what makes the original story a classic. Also really misses an opportunity to reveal the true horrors of cloning gone wrong despite the teasing. Movie does more peddling than punctuating. Rarely capitalizes on the great ideas it sets up. A disappointment.
