Viewing Notes
My 4th movie on Day 5 at FF2014. An ancient “vampire” is unearthed in the rolling hills of Ireland as a young couple is stranded and seeks help at a nearby farm. You’ll never guess what happens next! Tone and style of this movie reminds me of the After Dark “8 Films to Die For” series. That’s to say this fits right in the middle of the pack. Has a few nice touches but conveniently changes the rules to suit the plot turns. A tad frustrating. Tries to stray from convention but also feels restrained by it.
