Viewing Notes

First film on my 6th day and last day at FF2014. Wanted to start with something I was predisposed to enjoy. Being from Mark Hartley was another tick in the plus column. Covers a lot of ground to paint many layers of the same story of Golan and Globus, the two guys from Israel that took on Hollywood, made a splash, then unceremoniously self-combusted under their own bombast and brazen disregard of the market. The documentary is an assault of many things Cannon with hilarious quips from those both praising and criticizing the cousins. Doesn’t provide new revelations so much as it is a fun trip into the Cannon catalog and how it came to be.
