Viewing Notes
Generally thought the plot / mystery was dopey and really stretched my suspension of belief. This alt reality in the catacombs is quite farfetched especially as it ties back to real world events / memories. What does work for me was the claustrophobic nature of the being underground. To me that is more terrifying than the mystic mumbo jumbo and hidden treasure curse. Had the movie stuck to more conventional horror I probably would like it more.
