Viewing Notes

Third film on Day 2 at CHFF. Very much a loose and more comical remake of MAGIC that happens to feature Diamond Dallas Page as a hilariously awful police officer. Nebbish theater employee and aspiring ventriloquist Henry Kosta just wants to perform his act. His dummy named “Moxxy” seizes control and murder ensues. Decent micro-budget flick that manages to keep things interesting within a familiar “pathetic man gets pushed around” storyline. Moxxy, voiced by Les Claypool, is easily the best thing here.
