Movie #7 in my 31 in 31 October challenge and the second of my in theater double feature. Popped over to Muvico but passed on the 3D. Más negro que la noche isn’t gonna add anything to the evil ancestor / haunted house subgenre but at least it keeps with tradition by allowing the atmosphere develop the spookiness. Really wonderful set design is the trick here and entertains despite the obligatory checklist of tropes. Not great yet quite nice to see a movie of this type get a theatrical run.
