Viewing Notes

Can understand why this movie had such a buzz during FF2014. Definitely the kind of movie that would be a blast with the right audience. I love the assassin code around the hotel. It’s like the kind of movie that exists in an alternate world. Keanu is pretty great in another one-note role. Yet as badass as he is I still feel like he’s still not quite as badass as his legend in the movie.

Also given his skills I don’t believe he’d fall so easily into the situation that sets things in motion. I get why it happens but to think he’d walk into that doesn’t seem plausible. Still a fun ride.

Now I’d like to se this character team-up with Denzel’s character from The Equalizer and Neeson’s character from Taken. Three men with a particular set of skills… to mow down everyone in their way. Imagine that movie.
