Race-car driver Blaine Striker grows concerned about his younger brother, a student at a medical school on the Caribbean island of St. Heron. General Turner has led a violent coup on this island and may be planning to blow up the school in order to blame the destruction on counterrevolutionaries. Striker infiltrates St. Heron, is captured, stripped to his tighty-whiteys, and electrotortured. He escapes, joins forces with the counterrevolutionaries, and foils a plot to assemble Russian missiles on the island.

This was Laird’s pick for BTSNAT9 that we didn’t get to see. He was kind enough to give me the DVD. The movie would have played okay at BTSNAT but the audio is severely lacking and mushed. Pretty cool to see James Ryan, Oliver Reed and Cameron Mitchell sharing the screen in this rebellion actioner. Still not sure exactly what was transpiring do to the crap audio.
I think the evil general (Reed) takes over a caribbean locale (actually somewhere in South Africa) where there is a college or school. Striker (Ryan) is called in to save the students along with a guerilla army. Lots of shooting and explosions and a few naked boobs. Would be a good one for a restored DVD/Blu release on one of the better genre brands. With those actors you’d think it would get more attention.
