Viewing Notes

Not nearly as bad as I was led to believe from WOM. Not a good movie but an interesting look at the history of Hilly Kristal and the rise of CBGB’s in a very compacted manner. I question a lot the choices esp. casting Rickman as Hilly. Could have been a lot worse but it’s watchable and fun to see all the bands. More about all the different types of music and less about the creation of punk, as its billed.
