Free ticket!—> Because the Foxcatcher screening was cancelled so I elected to see this since they offered a free ticket to any movie.
Solid performance by Reese Witherspoon. Haven’t been a fan of hers for a long time but the last few roles I’ve seen her in have me warming up to her.
Knowing this film is based on a real journey of what this woman went through to come to terms with her loses and destructive behavior makes it a lot more heartfelt and poignant. Having backpacked on a few of those PCT trails it was easy for me to empathize esp. with dealing with the death of a parent.
