Viewing Notes

A little surprised this is my first Bruce Li flick logged here. It’s too bad that Angela Mao is relegated to a backup player after her awesome opening scene. It is weird seeing her stunt person so prominently and obviously in that scene.

Mao gets to fight again towards the end but this is really a Bruce Li gig. He’s an agent trying to bust up a drug cartel between rival factions one led by burly westerner Paul Smith. Big brawl at the end but overall an average flick with a few decent Bruce Li moments. He really does look like Bruce Lee in some scenes.

Really wanted to see more setpieces with him and Mao teaming up to kick ass. Still worth the watch for the opening intro with Angela Mao taking down waves of dudes coming at her.
