I missed this screening at Film Center during the Godard run this past month so I ordered from the library. Viewing this makes me appreciate Goodbye to Language even more. Different film but the techniques are similar. Anna Karina’s first film with Godard and from which they become romantically involved. Surprisingly graphic water torture. I like how the terrorist plot is really the window dressing around the romance between the young couple.
