Viewing Notes

Another movie I’ve owned on (cheapie) DVD forever but I guess never watched because none of this is familiar to me. Such a wildly crazy movie that often makes no sense. I commented to myself “oh that Lily chick looks like Brigitte Lin” and, in fact, it is her. Weird mashup of so many genres that makes for a interesting viewing despite not being a great film—> war, men on a mission, jungle tribes, nazi regiment, road warrior, haunted house and ghosts, and and and and ... amazing.

Jackie Chan and Jimmy Wang Yu both top billed but not even featured that much. Brigitte Lin gets most of the heavy lifting here, which is fine by me. She’s dynamite and makes this a must see even if it’s so nonsensical.

Totally batshit.
